This is my story…

I’ve spent more than two decades helping remarkable individuals raise their profile and build influence. My career began as an international personal publicist, working with everyone from a world-leading supermodel to New York Times bestselling authors and pioneers in wellness. Yet, despite years of shaping the brands of incredible leaders, I never believed in my own.

Everything changed during extended maternity leave. I felt completely invisible and realised fear and self-doubt had always held me back from putting myself out there (not to mention I am also an introvert!). If I wanted things to change, I knew I had to find the courage to change first. That decision sparked a transformation that continues to unfold today.

Now, my work is centred on a simple premise: visibility is a choice, and courage is the first step. As the author of Courage to Be – Small Steps for a Big Life, I show emerging and seasoned leaders how to consistently step into their courage zone, do work that matters and be seen for it, not for attention, but for purpose and service.

I have been invited to speak to leaders from some of the world’s most iconic brands including the Financial Times, McDonald's, Spotify, Microsoft, Warner Discovery Group and L’Oréal to name only a few. I contribute regularly to Forbes, and my ideas have appeared on The Morning Show, Sky News, SmartCompany, CEO Magazine and The Sunday Telegraph. My mission is to help talented individuals believe in their brand, have the courage to be seen, and attract the opportunities they deserve while adding value to the world in the way only they can.

Carlii is somewhat a secret weapon and she has a way of asking questions that pinpoint what matters. She is generous with her knowledge, her contacts and her expertise; and has taught me how to share my expertise in a way that is congruent with who I am and where I want to go. Thank you Carlii for your magic.

My Life in a Nutshell

A woman holding a baby in white clothing.

Baby

I came into the world (accidentally) thanks to my very young parents. My first home was a caravan in front of my Grandma’s house.

Fifteen

At 15, I was a high school dropout, pursuing a career in hairdressing (to fund my party going lifestyle). A few years later, a wellness retreat helped me realise there was more to life.

Twenty-Seven

At 27, I was running my own PR consultancy in New York City, working with high profile individuals, from supermodels to New York Times bestselling authors, but I stayed firmly behind the scenes (that is me in the red dress in the background).

Thirty-Five

At 35, I was a full time stay at home Mum. I felt invisible without my career. I found the courage to introduce myself in a businesswomen’s networking group and everything quickly changed.

Forty-Four

Today, I am an international speaker, author and executive coach working with some of the world’s most iconic brands. Proof you can be an introvert and still take up space!
